San Diego is a place people look forward to. The weather is easy, the pace is calm, and there is enough nearby that coming early or staying a few extra days turns the trip into more than a conference. A lot of our attendees use the weekend to rest, explore a little, and build the kind of relationships that last long after Saturday.

We want this time together to feel life-giving, not rushed. So we have pulled together a few recommendations to help you land in the right spot, whether you are flying in, driving down, or making a longer trip of it.

Where to Stay

We have a group block rate at two hotels, and either one works well. The choice mostly comes down to whether you would rather be closer to the dining and sightseeing or closer to the venue.

Legacy Resort Hotel & Spa (Mission Valley / Hotel Circle) $199/night
Best for easy access to restaurants, shops, and sightseeing, and central to just about everything you will want to see while you are here.
Book Here.
Or call 619-782-9155, press option 1 for the Front Desk (not Reservations), and use code DISABILITY26. (The booking link is set for arrival September 16 and departure September 20. For different dates, adjust those in the booking page or call the hotel.)

Holiday Inn near Grossmont Center (closer to Foothills Church)
A shorter drive to the venue, with plenty nearby. You trade a little distance from Mission Valley’s dining and shopping for a quicker morning commute.
Booking link coming!

Both hotels offer our group block rate, so you really cannot go wrong. If you are not familiar with San Diego, just pick based on what matters most for your trip: closer to the fun, or closer to the conference.

Where to Eat

Most of these are toward the coast and downtown, so plan a little drive time from the venue. Worth it.
